Chapter 1: My Cousin suddenly showed up where I work!

Mizuki POV

“Robin-chan! Can I take a break? My face is starting to hurt again because I’m smiling a lot.” I said to Robin-chan who’s one of the most popular maid in the café.

“Hai, you can have a 10 minute break. We seem to be really busy today so I think it’s best if you eat something while you’re on break. We may have to have our lunch later in the day.” she said, I just nodded in reply and went to the kitchen to get curry bread then head to the back of the café.

I cupped my face and squished it. I’m not used to smiling a lot but since I work in this kind of job I’m gonna have to endure it everyday. I started eating my curry bread, when one of my work mate got out and looked at me.

“Doshita no, Mei-chan?” I asked.

“Come inside! Hayaku!” she said dragging me inside the café.

“Nanda yo!” I asked irritated at being dragged here and there by my work mates.

“Mitte! Those two! They’re from Arashi!” she whispered,

“Sou? Doko ga?” I asked, she pointed to where the celebrities were sitting, I looked to see which people Mei’s talking about.

To my shock, one guy looked extremely familiar despite the fact that he’s wearing a baseball cap that was pulled low so that no one would recognise him.

“Serve them Mizuki-chan,” I heard Hana whisper to my ear,

“Eh?! Nande atashi?” I asked, my 10 minute break hasn’t even finished and now they’re asking me to work.

“Every maid here is busy with something and you’re the only one who’s not doing anything.” she said,

“Fine!” I replied, Unbelievable! I’m gonna have to smile again! I thought as I took two menus and headed straight to the two customers.

“Goshujin-sama, may I take your order?” I said in a cute high pitched voice way and tilted my head on the side a bit to look more cuter.

“Ah-hai, anou…Nino, what are you having?” I heard the guy who looked familiar said to the one next to him. Chotto! That voice!

“Toshi-niichan?” I asked, looking at the guy who spoke. The smile disappeared from my face, raised my right eyebrow at him.

“Eh? Toshi-niichan? Ohno, do you know her?” the other one asked, then they both looked at me.

“Ah-ha! Why are you here? Does obachan know you go to places like these?!” I questioned Toshi-niichan in whisper.

“Eh?! Mizuki-chan! Hisashiburi!! Be quiet about that! I’m just accompanying Nino.” he explained,

“Oi! don’t drag me into your problem Riida! You’re the one who volunteered to research about maid-cafés here in Akihabara, I’M the one who’s accompanying you!” the guy who Toshi-niichan called Nino said.

“You are such a liar! You haven’t been calling me for the passed two months! *whispering his name* Ohno Satoshi, *shouted* you owe me big time!” I said pointing my finger at him, realising that I became myself again I turned around to see everyone staring at me.

“E-heh! Gomen ne~♥!” I said in a cute voice again, stuck my tongue out then tapped my forehead, every customer said “kawaii~“ then when everyone began to act normal again, I turned around and faced Toshi-niichan again and asked for their orders while glaring at him. When I got their orders I quickly got back to the kitchen and waited for their orders to be cooked.

“Ne, Mizuki-chan do you know them?” asked Hana,

“Iie, nande? Sorry was I scaring a customer?” I asked, if they really are celebrities, I don’t really want to get involved with a scandal.

“Mm-hm*shakes her head*, it’s just because you looked like you know them.”

“Hana-chan, how will I know a celebrity? I mean, I don’t really socialise much you know.” I reasured

ding!!
“Sou ka.. Oh! The order’s ready, serve them now while it’s hot.” she said

“Ah,..hai,..ittekimasu!” I replied,..

MAID IN AKIHABARA

Summary: A maid in Akihabara who’s character is far from being a Maid and met an unexpected celebrity through her cousin.

Epilogue:

“Ugh! It’s such a pain acting all cute and genki working in a place like this.” she said looking at the Maid-Café in front of her.

My name is Yoshida Mizuki, 25 years old, working in a Maid-Café in Akihabara, Tokyo. Even though I work in a place like this, my character isn’t really like those trying to be cute girls. I was born in Tokyo, I decided to move out and look for a job but often visits my parents. I live on my own, no boyfriend, I live a pretty lonely life actually. From time to time my closest cousin sometimes calls me or invites me over to their house and talk about our updates in life, however, recently my cousin has been so busy that even leaving me a message couldn’t fit in his schedule. I don’t know what he works as but he said he’s popular.

“Ne! Mizuki chan! What are you doing looking at the café?”

“Oh! Hana-chan! Nothing, I was just thinking how I end up working in a place like this.” Mizuki said looking at her friend,

“Hm..That’s a mystery isn’t it? Ugh! Mizuki-chan! Smile more, you’re starting to scare other people, let’s go in before our boss drag us in.” Hana said grabbing a hold of her friend’s wrist and dragging her inside the café.

Mizuki started putting on her maid costume and her maid head band. After putting everything on she looked in the mirror disgusted of the way she looked.

Why am I wearing this?! Urgh! I have to put make up on now.

She looked at the dresser with make up on top of it and started putting some on her face.

Once she finished getting ready, she headed straight out to the dining area. Ugh! Bunch of otaku again, smile Mizuki. she thought, started preparing her smile for she will be smiling a lot.

“Okaerinasai masen goshujin-sama!”

On the way to Tokyo Dome hotel, Jun was thinking how to explain the misunderstanding between him and Kim. He was wearing his disguise, a hat and a pair of glasses. Once he got to the hotel he ran straight to Kim and Rea’s suite. He knocked on the door while trying to catch his breath

“Kim! Open the door please!” Jun shouted still catching his breath.

The door suddenly open, hoping that it was Kim opening the door a smile flashed in his face. However, it was not Kim it was her fuming friend Rea, Jun knows that Rea is pissed off with him about the misunderstanding that happened between them.

“Rea…” Jun said who finally caught his breath, “Where’s Kim?” he asked trying to peek behind Rea.

“What the fuck are you doing here?!!” asked the fuming friend.

“I need to see her…I need to talk to her…to explain everything I need to explain.” Jun said as he pushed Rea aside and went inside the suite finding Kim staring at the window and slowly turning around.

“What are you doing here Jun?” Kim asked trying to sound calm, she started walking towards her suitcase fixing the clothes she has on the bed.

“Kim….where…are you going?” he asked walking towards Kim who turned around and carried on packing.

“I told you didn’t I? Jim’s coming to get me, sometime next week” she said not looking at Jun

“W-why?! Didn’t that bastard broke your heart by having an affair with another woman?!!”

“Jun..didn’t you do that to me aswel?” her voice cracking and tears that were threatening to fall

“I…Kim! It was all a big misunderstanding! I didn’t kiss Mao!”

“Sho saw you Jun! Both of you all alone in the fucking dressing room kissing your fucking hearts out!!!” she shouted, tears fell, she looked at Jun with sadness, anger, and confusion in her eyes.

“Kim please!..Mao kissed me!” Jun begged

“Sho said that Mao said that she still loves you. You were together before right?” wiping her tears away

“..y-yes, but I--”

“So that means, if she still loves you it means that you two haven’t been apart that long, right?”

“uhmm…”

“Tell me Jun…When did you two broke up?” she said trying to sound strong and calm

“Why do you have to know this?! Kim she’s only the part of my past and that’s it!” he protested

“I need to know Jun! Now answer my fucking question! When did you two broke up!??” she shouted

“The day before I met you…” he said, Kim laughed sarcastically at what he had said

“I was a stupid girl before who believed what her boyfriend says to her even if she has all the evidence to prove that he is cheating on her,
but…now…now I am nothing but a REBOUND GIRL!!!”

“No Kim, I…it’s not like that! I love you Kim!!”

“How am I going to believe you? How can I believe you? Tell me Jun, tell me, HOW!??” she shouted, and stood up staring straight in his eyes..

“I……” before Jun could even say anything, Rea slapped him, he looked at her shocked

“Jun, get out!! You are making a lot of things worse, thanks to you she’s feeling another pain in her.” Rea said as she pushed Jun out of the room.

“Kim I love you. Remember that you’re the only one I love, Mao is nothing to me anymore.” he said while being dragged by Rea towards the door.

Once Jun got out of the room, Kim suddenly walked towards the door,..

“Kim? Where are you going?”

“Rea?…Let’s go drink!” she said looking at her friend with a huge grin on her face while tears fell from her eyes.

“But Kim!! You don’t drink!”

“Don’t worry! It’s a first for everything!” she said walking out of the room and dragging her friend with her..

“Kim!!!……” before Rea could protest, she’s already being pulled towards the hotel bar.
